I am an artist, producer and arts manager from Québec, Canada who settled in Australia in January 2008. I am currently living in Bondi Beach, Sydney and working as Hire and Post-Production Manager at Metro Screen.
In 2011 I was Operation Manager at Flickerfest where I managed a 30 cities tour of short films screenings and a distribution catalogue of 150 titles. From April 2008 to July 2010 I was Executive Director of Open Channel in Melbourne. Throughout 2009, I was producer and co-artistic director of PULSE, presenting site-specific multimedia performances on Melbourne’s rooftops.
Before settling in Melbourne, I was living in Montreal and working as Manager of Vidéographe Production in 2006-2008, when I was also the Chair of Communication and Co-curator of the 2nd Intl Pure Data Convention 2007. I visited Melbourne twice before for 6 months in 2005-2006 and 2003-2004. I then produced various multimedia performances at Dancehouse, Next Wave Festival, Big West Festival, Anode and Loop.
In 2005 I was General Manager of Québec Art Cité, a non-for-profit site-specific performance art company, where I produced 9 projects over 8 months, including the Quebec City Annual Celebration across 8 city councils. In 2003-2004 I was Manager of L’Ilot Fleurie, a urban utopian art centre under Quebec City Dufferin-Montmorency freeway overpass.
